A visit to the Cheetah Outreach is always an unforgettable experience. It’s such a unique opportunity to get up close with these majestic animals and learn more about how they’re being protected in our region. We’ve recommended many visitors here, and they all leave with big smiles on their faces!
Elgin Rail Market & Trail
For a little adventure, head over to the Elgin Rail Market & Trail. It’s such a lovely mix of nature, food, and live music, and we always enjoy spending time here. You’ll find local produce, arts and crafts is a perfect way to spend the day.
Penguin Watching at Betty’s Bay
If you've ever wanted to see penguins in the wild, Stony Point in Betty’s Bay is the place to go. The boardwalk along the ocean is a wonderful way to get up close and personal with these adorable creatures. And don't forget to keep an eye out for the Dassies – they’re often lounging on the rocks nearby! It’s such a fun, quirky experience, and you can’t help but smile as you watch these cute little penguins waddling about!

For those who love wine, Hemel & Aarde Valley are a dream come true. We often spend a day here, enjoying the breathtaking views, sampling local wines, and just soaking in the beauty of the region. It’s the perfect day trip, and we always recommend a visit to some of the wineries.

Hillcrest Berry Farm is one of those places that we just love to share with visitors. It’s a family-friendly spot where you can pick your own berries, enjoy homemade treats, and wander through the farm. It’s a great place to relax, especially if you’re traveling with kids!
